Hope for Hawane

Hey, friends.  Here is a long-awaited update to our work in Eswatini, Africa.  We returned in late June and have been working on our continued projects there and in the USA.  Here is some of what we have been doing.

Upon our arrival, we began transitioning another campus into the H2Ochurch.tv Network.  Perry, Oklahoma is our new/old project.  Brian and Tina Ahern launched the Perry Campus with us beginning in 2009.  Pam, Lily and I moved there in 2009 and worked for three years building a campus there –then leaving it in good care with the Aherns as we worked on other campus projects.  2022:  The Ahern’s retired in July of this year.  We moved to Perry to train a new staff as we transition the campus back into our system.  It appears that we may be here for a bit in the State-Side work.  Keegan Cook, one of the pastors at Towanda, Kansas has moved to Perry to lead the campus.  The campus is an old hotel in the downtown area.  We have a CoffeeHouse as a ministry tool that is like some of the H2O CoffeeHouses in other communities.  While we are here, we are training a local team and enjoying building new relationships (and old ones renewed).

Eswatini:  The Baby House with True Hearts Ministry is doing grand.  This mission that Justin and Jenny Carson have envisioned so many years ago continues to expand while they are enjoying the work.  You may find a look at the Baby House through Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/508085390922466   As that work continues, Pam, Lily and I will be concentrating on ministry in Hawane (about 20 kilometers from the Baby House) where we have been living when in Africa.  We were so blessed to find the Hawane community and have been so attached to the people there.  Just as we were returning back to the USA, we determined to undertake the unique water project in Hawane and have been working through the details.  See the video update below.

You have an opportunity to share in the Hawane Water Project with us.  For more information, please go to our website www.h2ochurch.tv/water for more pictures and giving information.  Thanks for partnering with us for some special people in Africa.  Your care means more than you know.    Thanks in advance.

Barry, thanks for the updates. God is so good and I love hearing how he is using you guys. Update on us, we are plugged into a strong church and love it here in South Texas. God is leading me into recovery ministry here partnering with Adult/Teen Challenge. I’m under a mature pastor (Joel Garza) and he is very supportive, much like you are.
